The STAHLWERK Welder MIG MAG 200 ST Plus gas-shielded arc welding machine is fully synergic, works with up to 200 amps and is equipped with the latest generation of state-of-the-art IGBT technology. The combi welder is ideal for MIG MAG welding and also has a lift TIG function.
The welding machine is also suitable for electrode welding and for processing FLUX cored wire. Welding without shielding gas is also possible. In addition to smart cooling with integrated overheating protection, the welding machine has a synergic wire feed. The speed of the wire feed is automatically regulated by the set welding current. In addition, the inverter adjusts the power parameters to the wire thickness set in the device, which ensures excellent welding properties and leads to an optimized work result.
As a special highlight, the welding machine has an integrated LED light to illuminate the wire guide, which enables the wire reel to be changed quickly even in poor visibility conditions. This is switched on automatically when the protective flap is opened. Manual control of the welding parameters allows the welding current and voltage to be optimally adapted to the desired welding task. The arc welder is therefore suitable for precise welding of thin sheet metal as well as sheet metal and stainless steel. The compact design of the welding machine and its low weight ensure effortless transportation and comfortable working.
Features
MIG MAG – gas metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding can be carried out with inactive/inert (MIG, e.g. argon) or active (MAG, e.g. CO2) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head and enable welding work to be carried out with just one hand.
- Synergic wire feed – The wire feed speed is controlled fully automatically via the welding current.
- Combination welding unit – The welding unit combines the MIG MAG / FLUX / Lift-TIG / MMA ARC welding processes in one unit.
- IGBT technology – The latest and most modern transistor technology enables maximum power and duty cycle (ED)! No transformer, no MOSFET, state-of-the-art IGBT!
- Highest efficiency & performance – Single-phase alternating current (230V) supplies the device and allows an output power of real 200 amps.
- Smart cooling & overheating protection – State-of-the-art technology, integrated overheating protection and high-performance cooling enable maximum power to be called up.
- Inductivity – Infinitely adjustable choke that smoothes the welding current and improves the welding quality and ignition properties.
Properties & advantages
- Anti-stick. If the electrode sticks to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced. The electrode does not anneal and can be detached from the workpiece more easily.
- Hotstart – Automatic voltage increase at the start for better ignition results. Prevents the stick electrode from sticking by briefly superimposing the set welding current and heats up the start of the weld seam more quickly.
- Overheating protection – Switches on as soon as the device is overloaded and switches off as soon as the device cools down again.
- Smart cooling – A powerful fan enables maximum duty cycle to be utilized through excellent cooling.
- ST-Guard housing – Is ergonomic, robust and safe to operate. The control panel is easily accessible and intuitive to operate.
- LED lighting – As a special highlight, the welding machine has an integrated LED light to illuminate the wire guide, which enables the wire reel to be changed quickly even in poor visibility conditions. This switches on automatically when the protective flap is opened.
