STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro 6-in-1 Multi Process Welder
The STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro 6-in-1 combination welding machine is a powerful 6-in-1 inverter with 200A that combines the TIG, MIG/MAG, MMA and FLUX welding processes. Equipped with a pulse function, the welding machine is also suitable for processing cored wire and for welding thin sheet metal and aluminum (in MIG/MAG mode). The versatile STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro also has an integrated 45A plasma cutter with precise contact ignition for optimum ignition properties. Depending on the material, the cutting capacity is up to 10 mm (mild steel ST37 up to 10 mm, V2A or V4A up to 7 mm, aluminum up to 4 mm). The STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro is equipped with the latest generation of IGBT technology and impresses with its synergic wire feed and numerous individually adjustable welding parameters. Thanks to the pulse function in MIG/MAG mode, the device is even suitable for aluminum welding. A powerful 4-roller drive ensures reliable and continuous wire feed. In TIG mode (DC), the combi welder has a high-frequency ignition (HF) with 2-stroke/4-stroke mode. The infinitely adjustable gas follow-up protects the tungsten electrode and effectively protects against wear and oxidation. Integrated overheating protection on the STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro and high-performance cooling enable maximum power to be called up. In MMA mode, the STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro offers improved ignition results thanks to a hot start function, while the practical anti-stick function prevents the welding electrode from sticking. The versatile STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro is ideal for professional use in industry, trade and for DIY enthusiasts.
Functions of the STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro 6-in-1
- MIG / MAG welding: Gas metal arc welding with direct current (DC). Welding can be carried out with inactive/inert (MIG, e.g. argon) or active (MAG, e.g. CO2) gases. Gas and welding wire come from one torch head and enable welding work to be carried out with just one hand.
- MIG pulse welding: The pulse function on the STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro also allows aluminum to be processed.
- DC TIG welding: Direct current (DC). Welding of almost all metals, such as steel, stainless steel, copper, brass and many more.
- Flux-cored wire welding (FLUX): MIG MAG welding without gas using a special wire.
- 4-roller drive – A powerful 4-roller drive on the STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro ensures a reliable wire feed, which also transports thicker welding wires continuously and safely during MIG MAG welding.
- Automatic wire feed: The welding wire is automatically untwisted from the spool and pushed by the wire feed unit through a hose package several meters long to the contact tip in the torch. The speed of the wire feed is self-regulating, depending on the welding current.
- MMA / manual metal arc welding: Manual electrode welding is a universal welding process as it can be used under almost all conditions.
- Powerful plasma cutter: All conductive metals, e.g. standard steel, copper, stainless steel, brass, aluminum, titanium, etc. can be cut with ease.
- Contact ignition: A light touch of the workpiece is sufficient to ignite in plasma mode. There must be permanent contact with the workpiece for the cut.
- Anti-stick: If the electrode sticks to the workpiece, the welding current is automatically reduced. The electrode does not anneal and can be detached from the workpiece more easily.
Features & benefits of the STAHLWERK CTM-250 Puls Pro Multi Process Welder
- Integrated LED light: As a special highlight, the welding machine has an integrated LED light to illuminate the wire guide, which enables the wire reel to be changed quickly even in poor visibility conditions. This switches on automatically when the protective flap is opened.
- Hotstart function: Automatic voltage increase at start for better ignition results. Prevents the sticking of the rod electrode by temporarily superimposing the set welding current and heats up the start of the weld seam more quickly.
- IGBT technology: Powerful, innovative technology that sets new standards in welding technology.
- Overheating protection: Switches on as soon as the device is overloaded and switches off as soon as the device cools down again.
- Smart cooling: A powerful fan enables maximum duty cycle to be utilized through excellent cooling.
- ST-Guard housing: Ergonomic, robust and safe to operate. The control panel is easily accessible and intuitive to operate.
- Welding current: Infinitely variable welding current. Set the welding current according to the material thickness of your base material.
- Voltage control: Variable voltage control to manually adjust the penetration and burn-off of the wire. The higher the voltage, the faster the wire burns off. A lower or higher setting can be selected depending on the material and material thickness. This allows the automatic wire feed to be adjusted slightly by speeding up or slowing down the burn-off.
- VRD (Voltage Reduction Device): Manually switching the VRD function on/off allows the output voltage of the welding machine to be reduced to a safe level to protect the operator when touching the electrode while not welding.
