The STAHLWERK AC/DC TIG 200 ST is a powerful TIG welding machine with MMA/E-hand welding function. One of the advantages of this AC-powered 2-in-1 combination welding machine is its compact design and low weight of just 11.5 kg. The AC/DC TIG 200 ST has practical functions such as smart cooling and integrated overheating protection. When TIG welding, the contactless HF ignition enables comfortable working and better welding results. The upstream and downstream flow of the welding gas can be individually adjusted to protect the tungsten electrode from wear and prevent oxidation of the weld seam. Device features & benefits of the Stahlwerk AC/DC TIG 200 ST

• 2T/4T (TIG) – determines the control of the operating mode and offers extended control over the current flow. In 2T mode, high-frequency (HF) ignition remains active until the button on the torch is released. In 4T mode, the arc is ignited after pressing and releasing the button once. After pressing and releasing the button again, ignition is terminated. Some functions, such as current reduction, are only possible in 4T mode.
• Current reduction – prevents the formation of blowholes (end craters) at the end of the weld seam.
• Gas pre- and post-run (TIG) – protects the tungsten electrode from excessive wear and protects the weld seam from oxidation. The parameters can be set individually and separately. They specify how long gas should flow before and after ignition.
