The STAHLWERK ARC 200 MD IGBT AVIS is a particularly compact and lightweight DC electrode welding unit for universal MMA/E manual welding. With a welding current range of 20-200 A, it covers numerous applications in the repair, assembly and DIY sectors.

Thanks to modern IGBT inverter technology, the device combines high performance with low weight and very good energy efficiency, while the integrated hot start function briefly increases the welding current during ignition, thereby enabling safe and clean ignition of the electrode.

In conjunction with the anti-stick function, which automatically reduces the current in the event of a short circuit between the electrode and the workpiece, the weld start and work flow are significantly improved. Together with the very good arc characteristics, this results in uniform weld seams with reliable penetration.

The Stahlwerk ARC 200 MD stick welder  can also be used as a DC TIG unit with contact ignition via an optionally available WP-17V Lift TIG torch (not included) – ideal for finer work on steel and stainless steel when smoother seam tracking is required. Comprehensive protection functions against overheating, overcurrent and overvoltage as well as intelligent temperature control (smart cooling) with demand-controlled fan, together with the ST-Guard housing, ensure high operational safety and a long service life.

• MMA electrode welding / ARC welding as a universal welding process. An electric arc melts the electrode to form the weld seam. No shielding gas is required and can therefore be used flexibly at any location.
• The Stahlwerk ARC 200 MD IGBT AVIS has a lift TIG mode (DC TIG) and can therefore be quickly converted to a DC TIG welding unit with the optionally available WP-17V universal lift TIG torch.
• Lightweight & compact design: Only 3.4 kg weight and dimensions of 269 x 116 x 187 mm. Innovative IGBT transistors save space and weight compared to the old MOSFET technology. No more heavy carrying!
• The set welding current is easy to read on a clear display. The welding current can be continuously adjusted from 20-200 A using a rotary control.
