Parweld XTS 163 MMA Inverter
The Parweld XTS 163 MMA Inverter uses the latest technology to provide a compact and reliable machine, ideal for everyday applications.
This portable arc welder has an output of 160 amps and runs electrodes up to 3.2mm easily.
The XTS 163 is Generator Friendly and is able to cope with inputs which fluctuate by +/-15% & can be used with the majority of generators. Recommended Generator size 6Kva minimum
Supplied with electrode holder, 3m cable & 3m earth lead
A carry case is available as an optional extra.
The machine has a lift arc mode and if you fit an optional TIG torch and couple to a suitable gas supply the XTS 163 can be used for TIG welding and is suitable for welding steel and stainless steel.
The lift arc mode limits the arc current when the tungsten touches the work piece preventing electrode damage.

Weighing only 4.7 kg the Parweld XTS 163 arc welder is extremely portable. Run a 1.6mm , 2.4mm or 3.2mm electrode and use the Electrode striking with arc force and re-striking with hot start features to get the job done.
Whether you are looking for machine to learn how to arc weld or maintenance work, farm work or site work this machine is physically small but packs enough power to do the job. Add a tig welding torch and you can TIG weld steel and stainless steel.
The 35 -50mm cable socket/plug connectors on the machine show that it is built for industrial use. Heavy duty connectors last longer and are easier to make a quick connection. The digital amperage display makes setting the machine easy and accurate.
Choosing the right electrode is the best way you can achieve a very good duty cycle on the welder. If you use a smaller diameter electrode you will be running the machine at a lower amperage utilizing the duty cycle of the machine to its maximum.
