Miller Maxstar 280 DX
The Miller Maxstar 280 DXÂ is Miller’s DC TIG Inverter, which features TIG (GTAW) & TIG Pulse (GTAWP). This machines comes with a range of features developed using Miller’s Welding Technology.
Machine comes with:
- Tig Torch 4 metre air cooledÂ
- Regulator & gas hose
- Earth cable and clamp
- Price does not include input power plug.
The machines has a memory card data port on the front. This allows the user to update the machine with Miller Software and expand the machines features (available on Millerwelds.com)
The Maxstar 280DX features Pro-Set technology. This assists the welder with adjusting the machines welding parameters before a weld, providing the welders with convenience and confidence when welding.
To preserve energy, the Miller Maxstar Welder has a sleep timer. This feature means the machine will power down if sitting idle for a specified amount of time.
This Miller TIG Welding Machine also uses Auto-Line technology allows for input voltage hookup with no manual linking required, perfect for situations where there are issues with power supply.
The Miller TIG Welder uses Blue Lightning technology. This is an arc-starter feature for non-contact arc initiation. This provides the welder with a reliable, consistent arc compared to other arc starting technologies.
The Miller Machine has digital meters which are to be calibrated for certification.
Miller Maxstar 280 DX Welder uses Wind Tunnel Technology, which protects the machines internal components from airborne contaminates. This extends the machine life as its internal components will hold their condition.
Fan-On-Demand is available in the Miller Maxstar range. The machines fans only operate when needed, meaning the machine has reduced noise levels and also reduces its energy consumption when the fans are not being used.
The Miller Maxstar 280 DX has extended, fully featured pulse technology.
