The powerful STAHLWERK plasma cutter CUT 50 ST IGBT  delivers a powerful 50 amps and has a precise high frequency (HF) contact ignition for first-class ignition behavior.

The cutting performance is up to 14 mm depending on the material (structural steel ST37 up to 14 mm, V2A or V4A up to 8 mm, aluminum up to 5 mm).

In addition to the common conductive metals, the plasma cutter is also suitable for painted sheet metal and rust. The cutting current can be continuously adjusted from 15 to 50 amps.

The compact device has smart cooling and overheating protection and is easy to transport at just 7.2 kg.

Device functions & components

• Plasma / CUT – Electricity is used to generate a plasma jet that melts the material, which is then removed using compressed air. This makes it easy to precisely cut all conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and many more.
• Cutting thickness – Depending on the material, cutting thicknesses of up to 14 mm are possible. Structural steel ST37 up to 14 mm, V2A or V4A up to 8 mm, aluminum up to 5 mm.
• Contact ignition – high frequency (HF) contact ignition for first-class ignition behavior.
• Cutting current – Continuous adjustment from 15 to 50 A.
• Air after-flow – After the cutting process has been completed, air automatically flows to cool the torch and reduce wear on the nozzle and electrode.
