The STAHLWERK CUT 40 Pilot IGBT plasma cutter boasts a robust 40 amp output and features a high-frequency (HF) pilot ignition that ensures precise and superior ignition performance. This plasma cutter can handle a variety of materials, offering a cutting capacity of up to 10 mm for mild steel ST37, up to 7 mm for stainless steel grades V2A and V4A, and up to 4 mm for aluminum. It is compatible with all standard conductive metals, including painted sheet metal and rust film.

The cutting current is adjustable from 15 to 40 amps, allowing for flexibility across different applications. The device is compact, featuring smart cooling and overheating protection, making it both safe and easy to transport with a weight of just 7.5 kg. The STAHLWERK CUT 40 Pilot IGBT comes complete with a comprehensive set of accessories, enhancing its usability right out of the box.

Device functions & components

• Plasma / CUT – A plasma jet is generated by means of electricity, which melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. This allows effortless precise cutting of all conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and many more.
• Cut thickness – cut-offs are possible up to 10 mm depending on the material. Mild steel ST37 up to 10 mm, V2A or V4A up to 7 mm, aluminum up to 4 mm.
• Pilot ignition – High frequency (HF) pilot ignition for first-class ignition behavior. No contact with the workpiece necessary! The pilot flame establishes the arc. This torch can be operated with a spacer, which is included in the delivery.
• Cutting current – Stepless adjustment from 15 to 40 A.
• Air after-run – After cutting is complete, air automatically flows to cool the torch and reduce nozzle and electrode wear.
• High quality guide carriage / roller carriage / spacer for P60 plasma torch, allows precise cutting and provides consistent torch position.
