The Stainless Steel Weld Cleaner from Stahlwerk SRG 300 Pro is a compact, electronic weld seam cleaning device for electrochemical cleaning and passivation of weld seams and metallic surfaces. Specially developed for stainless steel, it removes tarnish, oxide residue and discoloration from weld seams and produces a bright, passivated metallic surface. In contrast to conventional pickling processes, the Stahlwerk SRG 300 Pro stainless steel welder cleaner does not use highly aggressive acids such as nitric, fluoric or sulphuric acid. Instead, a suitable electrolyte is used in combination with a conductive carbon fiber brush, which is activated by an electric current. This results in a controlled, gentle cleaning process without mechanical abrasion, as is the case with grinding, which smoothes and passivates the surface at the same time.

With an adjustable output current of 10-30 A, the cleaning performance can be adapted to the size/surface and degree of soiling of the weld seam – from fine tarnish to heavy oxidation. Weighing just 2.2 kg, the device with its compact dimensions, carrying strap and 230 V mains connection is perfect for flexible use in the workshop, production or for mobile service work.
