The powerful STAHLWERK Plasma Cutter CUT 40 ST IGBT plasma cutter delivers a powerful 40 amps and has a precise high-frequency (HF) contact ignition for first-class ignition behavior. Depending on the material, the cutting capacity is up to 10 mm (mild steel ST37 up to 10 mm, V2A or V4A up to 7 mm, aluminum up to 4 mm).

The plasma cutter is suitable for all common conductive metals as well as painted sheet metal and rust film. The cutting current can be infinitely adjusted from 15 to 40 amps. The compact device has smart cooling and overheating protection and is easy to transport at just 7.0 kg.

Device functions & components of the Stahlwerk Plasma Cutter CUT 40 ST IGBT

• Plasma / CUT – A plasma jet is generated by means of electricity, which melts the material, which is then removed with compressed air. This allows effortless precise cutting of all conductive metals such as standard steel, stainless steel, copper, aluminum, titanium and many more.
• Cut thickness – cut-offs are possible up to 10 mm depending on the material. Mild steel ST37 up to 10 mm, V2A or V4A up to 7 mm, aluminum up to 4 mm.
• Contact ignition – High frequency (HF) contact ignition for first-class ignition performance.
• Cutting current – Stepless adjustment from 15 to 40 A.
• Air after-run – Air automatically flows after the cutting process is completed to cool the torch and reduce nozzle and electrode wear.
