PFERD CC-GRIND ROBUST is a grinding disc which offers a modern, high-performance, and ergonomic alternative to conventional grinding wheels, flap, and fibre discs.

This Grinding disc is precision-moulded, triangular high-performance abrasive VICTOGRAIN for steel and stainless steel (INOX) with maximum grinding performance and outstanding tool life.

What is Victograin and why is it so effective?

With their triangular, precision-formed abrasive grains, PFERD’s VICTOGRAIN products represent some of the most effective grinding tools available. The unique geometric shape of the VICTOGRAIN grit provides unparalleled cutting performance and efficiency.

Each identical triangle is positioned to apply maximum cutting force at the optimal angle, allowing the grit to penetrate the workpiece while expending minimal energy. Users benefit from faster material removal, longer tool life, less heat influx, and lower power requirements.

The triangular grains are anchored firmly to the substrate on one side. This secure grip, along with their slim profile, enables an extremely large open space around each grain to further boost machining efficiency.

Additionally, the interior structure of the VICTOGRAIN triangles has been optimized for ideal wear characteristics. The very small internal crystals ensure fresh, sharp cutting edges are continually exposed through gradual, minimal grain loss.

Recommendations for use:

• Trim the CC-GRIND-ROBUST on sharp metal edges, files or with cutting inserts.
• Trimming may only be carried out with a contact angle of 45°.
• Press the tool carefully on to the workpiece and increase the pressure until a chip is formed. Keep the pressure until the tool has been brought to the desired dimension.
• Choose the CC-GRIND-ROBUST SG STEELOX for deburring.
• Choose the CC-GRIND-ROBUST SGP STEELOX if you want results as fast as possible.
