One difference between the Miller 220 and the 220DX is that the DX using a Synergic UI with a digital display which simplys setup & allows for a range of settings.

Welding parameters can be manually adjusted, allowing for the machine to do work on a range of different applications.

If the main transformer or rectifier overheat, the thermal overload protection will shut down the power source.

The machine uses an industrial dual gear driven system featuring a reversible drive roll (0.8mm / 1.0mm) & an adjustment knob
