LanoShield Car AutoBody spray 2L kit

LanoShield AutoBody Corrosion Protection spray protects the underside of your car from rust and corrosion and is pressure washer safe so lasts a very long time.  Clear/transparent after application it comes with a 1m hose so you can leave it on the ground and spray into difficult places.

This is marine standard and has the highest percentage of Lanolin (the ingredient that actually stops the corrosion) we can provide and still make it sprayable.   This does mean it works better if stored at plus 10 degrees and it does need to be shaken before you apply it.

What else can LanoShield be used for….

LanoShield works incredibly well on other common items  ie lawn mowers, tools, hinges, garden gates, wheelbarrows, trailers, machinery, farm equipment, atv’s  caravans, commercial transport ie lorries, trucks etc.

Has the percentage of Lanolin been reduced for non-marine applications?

No. The packaging has been changed to make it easier to spray in difficult places and 2L is more than enough for all cars 4x 4, vans etc with enough left over for other applications.

Do you provide LanoShield in different sizes?

Spray Retail sizes are 500L spray 2L spray and 5L spray. Trade sizes start from 25L to 1000 L in an IBC

Grease Retail sizes are  250Ml and 1L tubs.  Trade sizes are 5L to 202 steel drum

Does LanoShield also provide anti-seize protection as well as anti-corrosion?

Yes. This is one of the major advantages of the spray and grease. Remember that only a thin layer is needed so don’t over apply.

Tips

• Don’t over spray. A little goes a very very long way due to the Lanolin content
• Remove only rust that is ready to fall off or brush off. You don’t need to remove surface rust.
• Use goggles to stop it getting in your eyes.
• To clean off hands and clothes please use hot soapy water.
• Do no apply to wheel nuts due to the anti-seize properties

How to Apply Lanolin anticorrosion protection;

Cars 

Many parts of cars are prone to rust and so common areas to use LanoShield are on all bolts and nuts, bulkheads etc.  As with trailers we have found the easiest way to apply this is by using a small brush and remember to cover the thread on the bolts as well as all nuts.  It can also be applied to your car battery terminals to stop corrosion

For larger areas like bulk heads either use our Lanoshield autobody spray or simply a larger brush but as you only need a thin coating spread thinly.   Please note that if you prefer a thinner grease i.e. more like a gloss paint consistency LanoShield autobody can be heated up by placing the jar in a microwave for 30 seconds on full power.
