Ceramic Backing Welding Strips on Self-Adhesive Aluminium Tape

These ceramic backing strips are pre-aligned and mounted on a self-adhesive aluminium backing tape, designed to facilitate welding from a single side with full penetration. This reduces the need to grind out and re-weld the root from the reverse side. The self-adhesive tape adheres securely to any weldable material.

Available in various configurations, these strips are ideal for heavy gauge MIG/GMAW and MMA/SMAW applications, including structural steel fabrication, bridge construction, pressure vessel manufacturing, shipbuilding, and pipeline seam welding.

Each strip is 600mm (60cm) in length, and each profile is supplied in packs of 20 strips.
