Elga MEGAFIL 710 M Metal Cored Mig Wire – 1.2mm x 16kg spool BS300
Elga MEGAFIL 710 M is a seamless, metal-cored MIG welding wire notable for its stable arc and virtually no spatter. It’s highly effective in automated welding settings, including orbital Mag and robotic welding.
This wire is distinguished by its comprehensive third-party approvals, allowing its use in a wide range of procedures, particularly with steels having a yield strength up to 460 N/mm².
MEGAFIL 710 M is also suitable for constructions requiring post-weld heat treatment, maintaining technical properties that meet the 5Y46 class standards. The seamless manufacturing process ensures a low hydrogen content, under 3 ml/100 g of weld metal, which remains consistent even after extended storage in unconditioned spaces.
