Norton VULCAN Ultra-Thin Cutting Discs are part of Norton’s VULCAN range.
These High Quality Thin Cutting Discs save on costs and provide a high quality, improved finish.
This Ultra-Thin Cutting Disc will save approximately 60% cutting time compared to a standard 3mm cutting disc.
The Norton VULCAN 1.0mm Cutting Discs ensure a clean, fast cut and have great durability. This is due to the sharp aluminium oxide grains manufactured in the Norton VULCAN Cutting Disc.
These thin Cutting Discs are free of sulphur, iron and chlorine and suitable for use on hard metals. It will not contaminate stainless steel (inox) and may also be used on mild steel.
The disc uses a grit size of 60 and a medium/hard bond (S) providing a quick, straight cut.
The Norton VULCAN Ultra-Thin 1.0mm Cutting Disc does not wear as much as other conventional cutting discs on the market.
The VULCAN Ultra-Thin 1.0mm Cutting Disc is 115mm / 4 1/2″ and is ideal for use with a wide range of angle grinders from 500W to 1400W without significant effects in performance.
