Elga Cromarod 312 Electrode is The Problem Solver. This stainless steel arc welding rod 312 can deal with any base material, except for cast iron. Dissimilar joints between stainless and low alloy or high carbon steels make it the most universal of all Elga electrodes.
It is an easy to use multipurpose electrode with excellent welding characteristics. It is suitable for welding of tool steels, spring steel and 13% manganese steel. That is why it is always useful to have a box of CROMAROD 312 on your shelf. Whether you are a professional or an amateur, you will find this rod extremely useful.
The 312 stainless steel rod is a rutile flux coated electrode which deposits a 29%Cr / 9%Ni austenitic/ferritic stainless-steel weld metal with a ferrite content of approximately FN 50.
The weld metal exhibits excellent tolerance to dilution from dissimilar and difficult-to-weld materials without hot cracking. Also known as a 29 9 Electrode .
This product comes in 3 diameters 2.5mm (2.5kg tin), 3.2mm (3kg tin), 4.0mm (3kg tin) Prices shown are per tin.
